Become a transformational leader in education through research and policy.

Expand your career with D’Youville’s Doctor of Educational Leadership program. Focused on social justice and the transformational leader, this program features real-world research and policy-analysis experience designed to help you confront key challenges facing educational institutions and prepare to take on new leadership roles.

Developed with working professionals in mind, the program offers small seminars, evening and summer courses, and an online format. Coursework prepares you for the dissertation while applying classroom learning to your practice site through policy briefs and applied projects. Note that the Educational Leadership EdD program is not intended to lead to certification as a school principal.

YOU WILL:

  • Analyze education policy, finance, and governance
  • Examine the relationship between education and inequality
  • Build the foundation for your dissertation early in the program
  • Lead transformational change across the P-22 educational continuum
