Build your academic profile for medical school or dental school, or prepare for a wide range of research and health industry career paths in just one year with D’Youville’s accelerated Master of Science in Anatomy. This program provides you with an intensive, hands-on study of anatomy through practical experience in cadaver-based dissection and contemporary research techniques in our Human Gross Anatomy Lab.
Graduates are well-prepared for a range of paths: pursuing a professional healthcare or science degree, academic research and instruction, or scientific and managerial roles in health-related industries. This degree can also qualify you to teach anatomy to allied health and nursing students at community colleges.
Decide how you want your MS in Anatomy to culminate: with a research project or with a dissection-based capstone project. Both options allow you to demonstrate your mastery of course concepts that you present to faculty or classmates.
Students then complete one of two sequences: Research Methods in Anatomy II and Research Seminar, or Advanced Human Dissection and Anatomy Capstone.
Admission is highly competitive. Applications for the master’s program must be submitted and verified through CASPA by the September 1st deadline. Master’s applicants must present:
