COURSES AND REQUIREMENTS
The program capstone is designed to demonstrate your mastery of topics across the curriculum. It can take the form of an independent research experience, internship, or service-learning experience.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Prerequisite Courses
Applicants must complete the following at the undergraduate level:
- Two semesters of general chemistry
- Two semesters of general biology
- Two semesters of organic chemistry, or one semester of organic chemistry and one of biochemistry
- One semester of a behavioral science course (e.g. psychology, sociology)
Enrollment Requirements
- A completed online graduate application
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with a cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 2.8
- Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended (international applicants must submit a course-by-course evaluation from World Education Services or another approved evaluation agency)
Preferential admission is awarded to applicants with an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher.
