The program capstone is designed to demonstrate your mastery of topics across the curriculum. It can take the form of an independent research experience, internship, or service-learning experience.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Prerequisite Courses

Applicants must complete the following at the undergraduate level:

  • Two semesters of general chemistry
  • Two semesters of general biology
  • Two semesters of organic chemistry, or one semester of organic chemistry and one of biochemistry
  • One semester of a behavioral science course (e.g. psychology, sociology)

Enrollment Requirements

  • A completed online graduate application
  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with a cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 2.8
  • Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended (international applicants must submit a course-by-course evaluation from World Education Services or another approved evaluation agency)

Preferential admission is awarded to applicants with an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher.
